ASLADECO is a black and woman owned training institution that is biased on the rights of people who are Deaf. The founder has over 16 years of active participation in the broader disability sector with a special focus on communication access using South African Sign language , sign languages of other countries and International Signs. However in the year 2012 ASLADECO was finally registered as a Pty (LTD) to proactively provide solutions, advice and help bridge the widening gap between Deaf people and hearing people in our society.
ASLADECO aims to offer holistic and specialized expertise with regard to Deafness, South African Sign Language (SASL), Sign language Interpreting and Deaf Culture. The Managing Director and the lead trainer of ASLADECO was born and raised in the dusty township of Mdantsane (Eastern Cape – South Africa) by parents who are both Deaf.
